CMO.com Redesigns, Replatforms For The New Year

No, you haven’t typed in the wrong URL or been link-hijacked. You are where you want to be: CMO.com. Except today marks the launch of CMO.com V2—what we hope is a new and improved version of our 3-year-old site that will make your quest for digital marketing news and insight easier and more rewarding.

While the entire site has been revamped, some of the main objectives we wanted to accomplish were to provide readers with easier access to our original, exclusive content; make the topics and industries we report on and write about more prominent; create a more “social” atmosphere by providing running streams of FaceBook and Twitter activity; show what articles and topics are “trending” on the site, so you can see what your peers are interested in; design new and improved Slide Shows for a more click-through-friendly experience; and, using Adobe technology, offer more precise and useful “recommended for you” articles right on the home page. (Note: Adobe is the parent company of CMO.com.)

Finally, while it might not be sexy or noticeable in any way, as we redesigned we also replatformed to Adobe’s content management system, CQ5, which will allow us to continue to improve the site even more as we move forward.
