A couple of weeks ago, I stepped into my first marketing class, excited to learn and meet some new people in my still-smells-like-new home base in New Jersey. There were four women already in the room, each sitting at their own table. Rather than taking one of the empty tables, I plopped myself down right next to one of the other women and started chatting with her.
