Consumers are becoming increasingly comfortable with using their voices to interact with devices and accomplish daily tasks. According to Mary Meeker’s latest internet trends report, voice has already begun to replace typing for online inquiries: 20% of mobile queries were made via voice in 2016, with accuracy now around 95%.
Major technology players, from Amazon and Google to Apple and Samsung, are also getting involved, providing their own voice-enabled devices and mobile assistant options.
