Victor Misawa's résumé at Unilever reads like a Jules Verne voyage: London, Australia, Japan, France, Thailand, Japan. The Japanese-Mexican Misawa grew up in Belgium and speaks four languages: French, Spanish, English and Japanese. He's been with the consumer packaged goods giant nearly 20 years. Back in Japan for a second tour, Misawa is vice president of marketing for North East Asia. He spoke to Forbes Associate Editor Chana R. Schoenberger about selling Unilever's products in the world's second-largest economy.
