A decade ago, the Internet was a place completely separate from the “real world,” with just a handful of users relative to the general population. Now the Internet is commonplace, touching most lives in the industrialized world and beyond. In the near future, the Internet won’t be a “different” realm: It will be where we conduct many, possibly most, day-to-day activities.
