As News Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch promised earlier this week, The Wall Street Journal, said Thursday that it will begin charging for access to the WSJ Mobile Reader application on Oct. 24. The Journal said the application itself will remain free and it will contain both free and subscription content.
